Seminar was very well done; informative and smart.  Instead of focusing on the mountain of information, he focuses on types of questions and critical pieces of information.  Dean started the seminar with a 20 minute review and mini mock exam, which really set a good tone for the seminar. 

This seminar was extremely beneficial.  It is a great compliment to the CAB proposed study material.  I would highly recommend this seminar.

there was only ONE seminar that helped me pass the exam, forget about the other (ancient) guys!  Dean, in his tutorial clearly explained the exam, what it is all about, like no one else.  His mock exams are the best preparation.....Check his posting on the forum, but here's a copy if you can't find it, and Good Luck!

Great seminar. He focuses the seminar on how to understand what to look for in the questions. He gives a great overview of the general items to look for in the questions, which your studying should be able to give detail, if necessary. The Exam is a standardized test that should (is) being able to be categorized and simplified.

There is no real emphasis on the study material specifically; anticipating that you are already studying what is listed in the Candidate's handbook, in addition to a little "experience" with all the phases of the project.

I don't know if my description is giving Dean his justice, but I know that with the technical focus of the other seminar I have taken, he balances out the overall test experience.

I highly recommend the Dean Lee CSE seminar.  The list of reference material for preparation for the CSE given by the ARE Board is extensive.  Reading through the material and sorting out what to focus on is half the challenge in preparing for this exam.  Dean Lee presents a method for approaching the study material which makes it manageable.  The two weekend seminar presents a comprehensive, simplified approach towards preparing the candidate for the exam.  I believe Dean Lee's seminar is a valuable tool for anyone wishing to prepare for the CSE.

 You were the first person I thought of to Thank, but wanted to write when I had more time to do it justice.  When I got the letter, my hands were shaking since I had already convinced myself I failed.  My boyfriend kept reminding me how good I felt after the orals, but I didn't believe it was possible!  Dean, you are my biggest hero and I will let everyone know. 
 
I'm going to call you later, since I want to thank you on the phone.  As you remember, the first time I spoke with you were a really low point in my life.  Your encouragement kept me studying which helped me get through everything else.
